How to Be a Girl

At the same time I was taking Digital Photography, I was also in Intro to Creative Writing, where we read the short story “Girl” by Jamaica Kincaid. For our project '“Text”, I chose to pair Kincaid’s words with studio photographs of objects from my Grandma’s house. I digitally cut the objects out and “stitched” around them to mimic the style of paper dolls.
