Growth

I made Growth from two photographs taken in 2017, one of a crocus—which bloom after winter—and the other a portrait of a friend during a season of deep suffering. I wove the images together in Summer 2020, as a gift for her to keep as a visual reminder of the immense growth and healing that took place over the last few years.
