what i saw & what you perceived⁠

Growing up with 15 months between us in age, my sister and I have many shared experiences together. In this piece, I wanted to explore how we have memories of the same outward event, but internally saw and processed it differently. The two childhood photos, taken on the same day, are printed back-to-back and then cut to create a visual representation of our different perceptions.
